最後には、I’ve yet to find anything like it in Japan!(まだ、日本ではそういうのを見つけていないわ。）have yet to ～（まだ～していない）
と言っていますね。
何が見つからないのでしょうか～？！

Christmas is coming!

I was able to walk the Peace Boulevard one evening,
and was extremely impressed with the amount of lights and people that  were out.

I do miss having an oven in my apartment.
Christmas is the time to bake cookies and other holiday treats!

Usually at Christmas time my mother roasts a large chicken, and lets it cook all day.
The smell fills the house, and teases you, until dinner time.

I’ve been searching around for candles and pine cones that smell like Christmas.
Back in Canada people fill their houses with the smells of cinnamon, cloves, baked apples, and pine needles.
Stores are filled with holiday candles, and scented pine cones.
I’ve yet to find anything like it in Japan!
